What this site is — and what we don’t do
House Bug Guide is an independent editorial publication. Everything here is written to be read, not sold. So that there is no confusion before you write to us:
- We do not provide any pest control or extermination service. We never come to your home, and we do not treat, inspect or handle an infestation anywhere.
- We do not sell any products, equipment, materials or treatments. Nothing on this site is for sale by us; the product pages are editorial comparisons only.
- We do not issue quotes, estimates or pricing. If you are looking for a price for a treatment, we are not the right people to ask.
- We cannot diagnose your specific infestation or recommend a contractor in your area. For that, a licensed local pest control service is the right call.
What we can do: correct an error, answer a question about something written in a guide, take a suggestion for a bug we have not covered yet, or hear how a protocol actually went in your home. See our Terms of Use for the full picture.
